Hook set manufacturer shares the safe use of hooks
The hook set is one of the more important lifting accessories of the crane. It plays a very critical role in lifting and transportation. Generally, the appropriate hook can be selected based on the lifting capacity. This is also to ensure that the crane will not be in danger due to the heavy objects during the lifting process. Therefore, the use of the hook set has relatively strict requirements.
1. The positioning bolts, cotter pins and nuts above the thrust bearing of the hook are tightened well and the connection is reliable;
2. When using the lifting ring, the force must be applied vertically and horizontal force is strictly prohibited;
3. The thread of the lifting eye must be tightened when rotating to prevent it from loosening and causing the hanging object to fall off;
4. When using two lifting rings to work at the same time, the angle between the two lifting rings shall not be greater than 90 degrees.
5. The hooks and rings used in lifting operations must have a smooth surface and must not have defects such as breaks, peelings, scratches, sharp corners, seams, and cracks; 6. Hooks and rings must not be used with overload;
7. The hook should be able to rotate flexibly; hooks and rings after repair welding are not allowed to be used; 8. The deflection angle of the hook should not exceed 10 degrees; 9. When using a hook to connect a heavy lifting ring, the position and force of the hook must meet the requirements.
