Safe use of hooks

The hook is one of the important lifting accessories for cranes and plays a very important role in lifting. Generally, a suitable hook will be selected according to the lifting weight. This is to ensure that the heavy objects will not cause danger to the crane due to excessive weight during lifting. Therefore, the use of hooks has very strict requirements.
Safe use of hooks:
1. The positioning bolts, opening pins, and nuts above the thrust bearings of the hook are tightened intact and the connection is reliable;
2. The lifting ring must be subjected to vertical force when used, and lateral force is strictly prohibited;
3. The lifting ring thread must be tightened when rotating to prevent loosening and causing the hanging object to fall off;
4. When using two lifting rings to work at the same time, the angle between the two lifting ring surfaces shall not be greater than 90 degrees.
5. The hooks and rings used in lifting and hoisting operations must have smooth surfaces and must not have defects such as breaks, peeling, marks, sharp angles, joints and cracks;
6. The hooks and rings are not allowed to be used overloaded;
7. The hooks should be flexible in rotation; the hooks and rings after rewelding are not allowed;
8. The slant angle of the hook should not exceed 10 degrees;
9. When connecting the hooks to the heavy lifting ring, the position and force of the hooks must meet the requirements.
