Introduction to electric hoist drum device and hook pulley device
The drum device of CD1 or MD1 electric hoist is composed of three parts: drum shell, drum and rope guide. The drum shell is connected to the hoisting motor (or two-speed motor) and reducer through stud bolts.
The surface of the drum is made into spiral grooves, and the wire rope is wound in a single layer on the drum. For low-lifting heights, high-quality cast iron drums are used; when the lifting height reaches 12m, the drums are rolled with steel plates or made of seamless steel pipes.
The rope guide is installed on the drum. It is an indispensable component to ensure that the wire ropes are arranged neatly on the drum and to avoid rope chaos. It works in conjunction with the lifting limiter to ensure safe limit at the end of the stroke.
The rope guide is generally made of a ring type, and its structure is shown in Figure 5-6. It consists of guide rope nut, steel belt, pressure rope spring, etc. The pressure rope spring is placed in the rectangular cross-section ring groove on the inner wall of the guide rope nut and is tightly clamped on the wire rope of the drum. When the drum rotates, the rope pressure spring rotates with the drum in the groove and moves axially with the non-rotating guide rope nut. Therefore, no matter where the rope outlet moves axially, the rope pressure spring always tightens the wire rope in the second turn. Even if the hook falls to the ground or other reasons cause the wire rope to have no tension and cause one circle of wire rope to relax at the rope outlet, the rope pressure spring still tightens the second circle of rope, preventing the wire rope from further loosening, thereby stabilizing the rope and improving the reliability of the guide rope.
Except for the hook pulley block of CD1 type and MD1 type electric hoist, which adopts double pulley block for 10t, the other ones (0.5-5t) use single pulley block. Hooks commonly use "T" shaped cross-section forged single hooks. It is suspended from the hook beam through rolling bearings, so it can rotate flexibly.
