Hook group As an important component of crane lifting, how is it composed?

  Composition of crane hooks:

Generally speaking, the hook group consists of: hooks, hook beams, thrust bearings, pulleys, pulley shafts, pulley plates and pulley covers.

  Hook classification:

In terms of technology, hooks can be roughly divided into forged hooks and slice hooks.

Forged hooks, forged and stamped, and then processed by mechanical processing. Forged hooks can also be subdivided into single hooks and double hooks. Small and medium tonnage cranes below 75 tons use single hooks; cranes with large tonnage of more than 75 tons may require hook-bearing symmetrical machinery.

Slice hooks are made of riveted plates with a thickness of 30mm each, and are generally cut out of the shaped plates with Q235 steel plates. Mainly used in metallurgical cranes and large-lift cranes above 75t. Single hooks of sheet hooks are mostly used in cast cranes; double hooks are mostly used in general cranes with more than 100 tons.

To ensure safety of use, remind "whether it is a single hook or a double hook, when purchasing, you should choose a hook product with a smooth surface, no burr-cutting, and fastening the fixing nut."
