What are the mandatory technical requirements for lifting hooks?
1. When purchasing lifting hooks, they must have technical documents such as the manufacturer's certificate of conformity and other technical documents; important departments purchase hooks such as railways, ports, etc., and the hooks need to be strictly inspected (flaw detection) when leaving the factory.
2. The lifting hook must not have defects that affect the safe use performance; the hook defects must not be welded and repaired; the surface of the hook should be smooth and there must be no defects such as cracks, folds, sharp angles, burrs, peeling, and overburning.
3. You can select two appropriate positions at the short distance of the hook opening to print the sign that is not easy to wear, and measure the distance of the sign as the basis for detecting whether the opening degree has changed during use.
4. The hook material can be made of 20 carbon steel or hook special materials DG20Mn, DG34CrMo, etc., and cast hooks are strictly prohibited. The material of the plate hook is generally made of A3 and C3 ordinary carbon steel, or 16Mn low alloy steel.
5. The longitudinal axis of the hook and hook sheet of the lifting hook plate must be located in the rolling direction of the steel plate, and the hook sheet is not allowed to be spliced.
7. The plate hook and hook piece is riveted with countershot rivets, and the high-stress bending parts that are in contact with the lifting point shall not be connected with rivets.
8. Fully closed welding is not allowed between the plate and hook stacks, only intermittent welding is allowed.
9. The lifting hooks that have undergone overload tests should be scrapped.
