Explain the technical requirements and scrapping of hooks
The hook has the characteristics of uniqueness, novelty, high quality and safety, and has a particularly wide range of applications. It is mainly used as a fetching and load-bearing device for lifting machinery and equipment. Since hooks are required to withstand large loads when used in lifting machinery, industrial applications now have specific technical requirements for the production and application of hooks.
Hook products should have a certificate of conformity from the manufacturer when they leave the factory; hooks used in important departments such as the transportation industry must undergo flaw detection; hook defects must not be welded; hook surface must not have cracks, folds, overburning and other defects; hook surface roughness should not be too large; hook forging materials are generally forged from high-quality carbon steel or other special materials; hooks that have been subjected to overload testing should be scrapped.
Hooks should generally be scrapped if one of the following conditions occurs: cracks appear on the hook body; the wear of the dangerous section reaches 10% of the original size; the opening increases by 15% than the original size; the torsional deformation of the hook body exceeds 10°; the dangerous section of the hook or the main load-bearing part is deformed; the hook thread is corroded; the bushing of the laminated hook needs to be replaced when it wears to a certain extent; when the wear of the hook spindle reaches 5% of the original size, the spindle should be replaced.
During the production process, the hook should be produced in strict accordance with the technical requirements and must not cut corners. In addition, when the hook reaches the scrap standard, it must be scrapped in time and must not be "reluctant". Otherwise, serious accidents may occur due to breakage of the hook.
