What types of hook groups are there?
We collectively call the hook and the moving pulley group hook group. The hook group is generally divided into two forms. One is the short hook group:
The short hook group generally uses a long hook. The moving pulley is directly installed on the hook beam, which eliminates a separate pulley shaft, so the overall height seems to be small, thus increasing the effective lifting height.
Another type is the long hook group: the long hook group uses ordinary hooks, the hook is supported on the hook beam, and the moving pulley is supported on a separate pulley shaft, which will reduce some effective lifting height when used.
Because the roller slides of the short hook group are installed at both ends of the hook and the number of roller slides is even, it is suitable for roller slide groups with smaller magnifications, because when the magnification increases, the number of roller slide groups increases, and the beam of the hook will increase, thereby increasing the weight of the hook group itself. Therefore, short hook sets are generally used in smaller cranes.
